Mid-Year Online Charts Monthly Recap

Here are the songs that topped the charts in each month. I only included 3 because monkey3 and cyworld is no longer available for overseas viewing. Ollehmusic (formerly Dosirak) archives only started from March of this year. Bugs on the other hand has no monthly chart. Anyway, Melon, Mnet and Soribada are the charts that matter anyway. Well, that and cyworld.

Its pretty much the same artists winning in all 3 charts for the early part of 2012 aside for the month of February and May. Lyn wasn’t available to hold her ground in Soribada and succumb to 2nd place behind Davichi. The same thing in the month of May. Taetiseo topped Melon and Mnet but finished only 2nd in Soribada behind Baek Ji Young.

[Chart] Melon: 2010 November

Heo Gak once again prevail on another online chart. I think he will sweep all the online charts. It’s only a shame that SNSD’s album sales prevented Heo Gak from winning in music shows. But oh well, winning in music shows isn’t really a big deal. On another note, Heo Gak is a strong contention for newcomer of the year but I don’t know if he has a chance against C.N.Blue considering the first just recently debut.

[Chart] Melon: 2010 October

This is actually a surprise. For October 2010, melon proclaims Miss A number 1. I thought either SHINee or 2PM will take this. Well, at least Miss A can stand up proud and say that their song became artist of the month at least once in every major online chart. Back at their “Good Girl Bad Girl” promotions, Melon was the only online chart that said that they weren’t number one.
