2009 Inkigayo Winners

After I did a recap of Music Bank Winner for the year 2009, I decided I should also do an Inkigayo version. Unlike MB, doing a recap article on Inkigayo would be a hell of a work. For one thing, Inkigayo doesn’t archives their winners unlike in Music Bank. Well I think. I can’t find any archive section in their website. So I based my list with articles written in K Bites and allkpop. Also, video upload in cashewmaniakpop.

I got all the winners aside for these two weeks. The Jan 25 episode and the October 4 episode. From what I’ve read, SNSD got their 1st mutizen on the Jan 18 episode of the show and got their final award on the 8th of Feb. The article in K Bites also said that SNSD won consecutively. That made me think that Inkigayo didn’t air on the 25th of Jan. I was able to find video evidences of SNSD winning on the 18th of Jan as well as on the 1st and 8th of Feb.

I gave up on trying to find out who won on the 4th of Oct. I’ve done all that I could. For those who don’t know, if Inkigayo won’t be able to air on a particular week, they announce the winner of that week on the following episode. But the following episode, Inkigayo also didn’t air because of Dream Concert. They did however announce the following week that Lee Seung Gi won on the episode pre-empted by the Dream Concert. But the week before that, I don’t know.
